These very unusual coffee tables have been hand carved from solid Teak Roots. The wood is obtained from the base of pre felled teak trees which would normally be burnt or pulled up. The carvers then use the natural characteristics of the wood to produce unique and interesting pieces of functional Art furniture. The beauty of the wood is enhanced by a hand waxed finish. These tables are very solid with a 2" solid top and a one piece tree trunk base and really need to be seen to appreciate their unique character.
